Lions
There is uncertainty on how many different types of lions there are. Some of the types of lions are extinct in the wild and only survive in zoos. The Barbary Lion is the largest of the tree breeds. The Asiatic Lion is the smallest type of lion. The West African Lion is found in western Africa. The Northeast Congo Lion is found in parts of the Congo. The East African (Massai) Lion, is found in east Africa and the Southwest African (Katanga) Lion lives in various locations including Zambia and Zimbabwe. The Southeast African (Transvaal) Lion lives in southeastern Africa.
