Albatrosses

Albatrosses are seabirds. There are over 20 species of albatross and the majority live in the areas of the southern oceans.

The largest of the albatrosses have a wingspan of 10 feet, and the birds fly over huge areas of open oceans.

A few species of albatross breed in the North Pacific. These are the Laysan albatrosses, the Stellar's albatrosses and the Black-footed albatrosses.
