The Andean Condor habitat is the Andes mountains and the Pacific coasts of western South America. This bird is the largest flying land bird in the Western Hemisphere.
The Andean Condor is a large black vulture with a white feathers around the neck. The male birds have white patches on the wings. The head and neck have few feathers and are a dull red colour. The male bird is larger than the female.
The Condor scavenges for food, mainly eating carrion.
