Vultures
Vultures are scavengers. They feed mainly on carrion, the carcasses of dead animals. There are two distinct families of vultures.
The New World vultures are those which inhabit the American continents. There are 15 species of Old World Vultures.
The Old World vultures are those elsewhere in the world. There are 7 species of Old World Vultures.
