Snakes
Snakes belong to the suborder Serpentes. They are cold-blooded carnivorous reptiles. Snakes are found on every continent of the world except Antarctica. They are also found on most islands of the world.
There are 456 genera and over 2,900 species of snakes.
Most snakes are not venomous. The snakes that are venomous use it to kill prey
